Leigh Nash and Julie Martin are both great. It's just Julie's voice is better suited to Jason's guitar, and Leigh's better suited to Sixpence's pop rock style. In my opinion.

I like them both but my wife always makes fun of the BV vocals.

No offense to people who do like it, but sarcastically, I wonder why.. Since we're on the topic, are all Bon Voyage songs in that same high pitch? I haven't heard one that isn't, in fact, I haven't even in one song heard a note lower..

All the ones I've heard. That's just her voice. (shrug) Well, I like it, even though I don't listen to it every day and I hope I didn't mis-place the first CD...

lol - Stephen, what is with you losing all your CDs? I don't know. This has got to stop, though. This really sucks. :'( I am normally VERY careful with CDs, so this is not a typical thing. I have never had to re-purchase a mis-placed CD. Never. So you can see that I am VERY unhappy about this. I do not want to spend money that could be spent on new CDs towards re-purchasing old ones, but I have no idea where that CD case is. Makes me mad.

Matt Slocum, on the other hand, has lent his talents to a handful of my favorite musical projects, which is very cool.
I hadn't heard the name, so I looked it up. Quite the talented guy...and anyone who plays with Over The Rhine must be a cool dude.

So, going back to the original question, doesn't it say in the Easy Come, Easy Go booklet that Jason originally named the band Starflyer 59 but that Brandon Ebel changed the name to 69 before the first album went to print?

I Googled "Starflyer 69" and came up with 2 hits that had this--
"In a mid-1990s advertisement for Cornerstone Festival in CCM Magazine, the band was referred to as Starflyer 69."

Matt Solocum (SP?) is very talented! He also played with Chris Taylor and Love Coma in the 90's and I think he is now involved in a group with John Davis (of Superdrag) I believe called Astronaut Pushers. They are pretty cool sounding. Matt shows up all over playing. Like someone said it helps to be multi-talented in the Christian music world or any music world for that matter
