You have a point. Despite Jasons lyrics being generally meaningless, if any album were to have meaningful lyrics then it would be Dial M since its dedicated to his dad who died around that time. I imagine Jason was quite hurt at that time and his music would have been a good way to let his feelings out.

i'm not going to conjecture what "15" may be a reference to.  remember how he deciphered the lyrics to "going places"?  who could've figured that out on their own?

really my only true gripe for dial m was 'Easy'. i LOVED the modulated synth in the bridge of the demo version, but on the LP, he cut it entirely.... i was... irritated. i liked that part. alot. 'Easy' was a good "rocker" on the demo, then he went all... jason martin on it, with that lush strumming breakdown. bah!

if you don't like jason martin doing his thing to his own songs, then why listen?  sheesh...i, for one, dig the slowed down bit with that david gilmour lead.

Where is this explanation of his?  Or do you remember what he said about it?
