Great job to whoever updated the Wikipedia page. It was sparse for years.

In regards to IATPB:

Quote from: idiot

"The album is generally thought of as an EP or side project and not a proper Starflyer 59 studio album, and to date is the last time guitar distortion was featured on a Starflyer 59 recording."

perhaps s/he missed Ghosts Of The Past and My Island? hmmmmm

Quote from: idiot

Dial M consisted of the first track of each vinyl record from Ghosts of the Future, remixed and cleaned up. The album was significantly influenced by the passing of Jason's father, affectionately referred to in the song Mr. Martin.

another mistake. lol.

Aside from the odd electric guitar note, I wouldn't say those other comments are "wrong" or "incorrect" so much as opinionated and/or essay-ish, and not fitting for Wikipedia.

I'm just glad something was on the page. Before it was nothing.

overall i am impressed with this page also; I found a few things (as a long time fan) that bothered me though:

1. It lists Wayne Everett as a "studio drummer" - he played drums on multiple tours with SF59.  It also makes it sound like only Wayne and Jason drummed on their first few lps/eps but there was another drummer too Dan Reid. I personally think Joey Esquibel deserves mention; we was on more than one album and was a great drummer.

2. It says Campuzano quit before any touring began.  He obviously played on the live album Plugged.

3. No mention of the two Project 86 guys that have worked with Jason on a few albums

4. No mention of him producing an EP for the Cold War Kids

5. And the live Green Door (OKC) and The Loft (Tulsa) shows were in the same year (listed as seperate years) b/c I was at both shows and have the video, they were back to back days and the unofficial audio was recorded by Chris Stellman.

oh...and it mentions that were was an introduction of keyboards to SF59 on the Fashion Focus album, the Hammond B3 organ played by Gene was a key instrument on the first 3 LPs too in my opinion (I guess you could argue the organ isn't a keyboard but you know what I mean).
