So. A coworker of mine knows I am a big SF59 fan, and recently asked me if I would burn her a "Best Of" comp to get her familiarized with this. I wanted it to be comprehensive too.

Turns out this was harder than it seemed.
39 songs later, 2 discs, and an incomplete discography. I am getting there, but it's quite a task for me.
I think I'll keep it a 2 Disc "Best" cd, because I think it'd be near impossible to get a fair overview on just one cd.

But I'd like some input! Anyone wanna post a comprehensive "Best Of" they would burn for someone who was unfamiliar?

Let me know! Smiley

I posted a similar list a bit ago in an older thread. Here it is.

It's 3 discs long, but disc 3 can be omitted here because it's devoted to b-sides and rare tracks.

Personally I take a more philosophical approach. What style does the individual like? Given that Starflyer has morphed over the years a simple "best of" may not do enough to make them a convert. However, having said that here's a few of my thoughts on the "must haves." Everything else can be filled in based on their taste. I picked these because I think they're great songs, good representation of their versatility and I think have IMHO commercial appeal. Crazy though that my "must haves" would fill up a whole CD!

Blue Collar Love

Le Vainqeur

Messed Up Over You

All You Want Are The Things I Need

I Drive a Lot

Going Places

When I Learn to Sing

Compeating

Major Awards

Good Sons

Nice Guy

Trucker's Son
