Forgive me if I missed this, but they have a new wave album coming out on Halloween.

Myspace has some tasty tracks up.

Weird combo. Awesome tracks. Blood Red is really cool. Glad to hear new material coming out!

Anyway, I really prefer Ryan Clark's rough vocals to his clean vocals. Still, Jason's involvement should make this worth checking out.

It's sort of weird that Jason's been collaborating with so many hardcore and metal musicians. Mark Salomon, Steve Dail, and now this.

Count me in the "I Dig This" camp. "Blood Red" plods a bit too much, but "Church Bell" is freaking sweet!

Hey, who knows, maybe it will get Jason in the mood to go back to some Blue Collar Love kinda tracks!

From Burnt Toast vinyl today:

Quote
With a mutual love for the melancholy sounds of 30 years past, J. Martin and R. Clark have teamed up to form Low & Behold. Their debut offering, Blood Red, hints at shades of Sisters Of Mercy and Depeche Mode, while exhibiting the band’s own unique approach. An instant favorite for fans of true gothic/new wave.

Pre-order now for a delivery around Halloween. 12″ maxi-single on red vinyl in deluxe thick, tip-on gatefold jackets with an art print insert.

Not really. It's a 12" maxi single "on red vinyl in deluxe thick, tip-on gatefold jackets with an art print insert." Packaging like that don't come cheap.

Really, if it's not even an EP's worth of material, I'd prefer some less extravagant packaging.

Yeah. Save it for the album. Having a really lo-fi single package is kind of cooler, in my opinion.

I'd still buy it anyway but I'm strapped for cash these days.

More info from Ryan Clark.

"Blood Red" and "Violent Sound" are the songs that are gonna be on the maxi single. Which would appear to imply that there will be a full album, and "Church Bell" will be on it.
