This doesn't include everything they've done, just everything I have. And I know most would disagree, but that's cool. It's from my rate your music page...

I don't know that I could rank the albums since I listen to them all and get hooked on one for a couple of days then switch to something else.  I will say that I love the Last Laurel EP (you ranked it last).  I play it often at home.  I also really enjoy The Portuguese Blues.  It's a faster, more rock n roll like SF59.

Not including EPs or singles, I would rank the LPs like this:
1. Silver
2. Gold
3. My Island
4. The Fashion Focus
5. Talking Voice vs. Singing Voice
6. Everybody Makes Mistakes
7. Leave Here A Stranger
8. Old
9. Americana
10. Portuguese Blues

So crazy that there are 10 SF59 albums!

SF59 album list

i cant see how you can say that Plugged is better than Old/Portugese Blues/Talking Voice vs. Singing Voice?

Leave Here a Stranger wasn't recorded in Mono for the "sake of being weird".... it was recorded that way to do the songs justice.

1. old
2. leave here a stranger
3. talking voice vs. singing voice
4. gold
5. portugese blues
6. fashion focus
7. everybody makes mistakes
8. americana
9. my island.
10. silver.

all of the albums are fantastic. amazing works of brilliance deserving much more credit than they deserve.

eps/live (of what i have)
1. cant stop eating
2. the last laurel
3. i win
4. plugged
5. never play covers

His opinion is just as valid as yours, sir. Music is a subjective thing. Smiley

This is tough but here we go:

1. Americana - Best all around feel and songwriting. Too bad Campuzano (bass player) quit because of the arguments during recording!
2. Gold - Sentimental favorite.
3. Fashion Focus - Best diversity and length of any record.
4. My Island - Came out of nowhere and blew me away. Their most fun album.
5. Old - The return to the rock. All good except for the song "old", don't really like that one.
6. Talking Voice vs. Singing Voice - Great vibe and love the string arrangements.
7. Silver - Great introductory record for a band. I love how full the guitars are.
8. Everybody Makes Mistakes - Some really great songs on here but as a whole album it feels like its missing something.
9. Leave Here A Stranger - Some more great songs but there's a quirkiness to some of them that bother me.
10. I don't count "Blues" as a real album!, just something done for fun.
