I'm actually now a member of rhapsody.com and for 12 bucks a month, I can listen to anything I want as much as I want. That's where I got to hear brothers martin, unwed sailor, yndi halda and many others.

I pay about $2 a cd. Each cd ordered uses one credit plus a $.49 fee. Credits are obtained by mailing cds to other members. It costs about $1.50 or less to mail a cd. So I'd say that adds up to be about $2 per cd. But you definitely have a better deal going with be able to listen to as much as you want. Especially if you're not interested in having a physical copy.

Yeah, I fell a subscription is best. We don't listen to much music in the car because we have 6 children. That's entertainment enough for everyone!

So, when I'm home, we just listen to rhapsody.com. Plus, they have a ton of world music and music I've never heard of before, so every night at dinner, we make it a point to listen to a CD from another country. So far, we've hit much of Europe and South America.
