hey, i'm keith. i live in Tulsa, OK. i got into starflyer in 95 from getting into T&N. i first got into mxpx because of a christmas gift mixup. i had no idea what it was so i listened and loved it. then i very feaverishly went to christian bookstores and listened to whatever T&N i could. the first i heard of startflyer was from Gold. i've been hooked ever since. i've seen SF play probably about 8 times. 2 of which acoustic sets. the frist time i saw was in support of Americana/The Fashion Focus (summer of 98. show supported Fashion, though teh albunm would not be out for a few more months) and am glad because that was the only show to which a song from silver was played (blue collar love and hazel would)

i have ever since 96 (when i got gold) been building my collection of starflyer 59 meticulously, i have the entire everything, except for The Drop, which i regret... because there were so many times i took hundreds of dollars to c-stone to buy merch... i should have just invested in the drop when it was cheap back then (about 70 bucks on ebay) oh wells... it'll come to me. eventually.

other than starflyer, i love all music really. i love all music without blatant overuse of profanity, so pretty much if it doesnt have a parental advisory on it, i'll buy it. i have almost 70 genres represented on my ipod, so i am very open to music. i do remember however being ragged on at a starflyer show in may of 2003 (support of old) because i usally wore a leather jacket then with tight jeans like the Ramones or Huntingtons or whatever. i'd been inchig my way up to the stage all night, and this jock guy (college town) on front row looks at me and goes "hey dude, shouldnt you have like spray paint and stuff all over your jack? *snicker*" but whatever. i've never been really to fit a certain mold. i liek what i like and whatever.

i also play x360, but do not play on live.

That's cool that you finally joined us Keith. I've been following your videos on YouTube for awhile. There are a couple Texas/Oklahoma guys that post here or at the Vagrant Cafe. There's a guy who plays in this band called One Wolf that's from Texas and another guy from Oklahoma that has a bunch of Starflyer shows on that old hi8 video format. I've been trying to get him to share with us. Welcome to the board.

My name is Joel. I am a huge SF59 fan. I love Jesus. I avoid M&Ms because they are bad for me and my lack of moderation. I front the band Veer Chasm. Peace.

I'm a new member, but this is my second post.  Guess I missed the intro thread when I registered. My first post is over here: http://www.sf59fans.com/forum/index.php/topic,793.0.html

I got into Starflyer sometime in high school when EMM came out.  Heard No New Kinda Story on one of the Cheapskates CDs and loved it.  I've followed everything since then.

They never came to MI (where I live) very often, but I did get to see them play twice at Cornerstone '02 which was when they were playing all the LHAS tracks and whatnot.  Wished I could have seen a few more shows, but if there was one set that I would pick out of all the years they were together, that's what I would have chose.  Got lucky, I guess.

Rhode Island! I was born in Newport.

The parents moved away fast and never went back, so I have no idea what it's like.

My parents moved to Minnesota when I was 3, so I remember a little, but not much.
I had to go to speech therapy to "help" me with my east coast accent.

My name is Nathan.  I live in sunny South Florida.  I first got into Starflyer 59 when I heard "Monterey (Lounge Version)" way back in '96.  I am not sure why that song hooked me in, but it did.

I have seen Starflyer a handful of times.  A few of my buddies even played with Jason and Frank on the Portuguese Blues tour.
