What's the file size limit for avatars here? It's been long enough since I changed mine that I forgot. I looked around but I can't find that info anywhere on the forum itself.

Hmm... I used an avatar randomizer script way back when I first joined (type the url in the "upload avatar" field and it gives a different picture from a predefined set every time I log in here), and now it's not working with this forum at all. I assumed it had something to do with the size of the pictures, but I guess that's not it.

I didn't know there was such a script; that's pretty cool. Yes, as long as it's 65x65px, anything should work: key word is 'should'.

I try to remember, but can't. Either it was so bad I blocked out the memories from myself, or I just cannot compare to it anymore.

Dial-up really wasn't that bad as the internet was set-up for it back when dial-up was the only way to connect. When DSL and Wireless came about is when the internet changed to fit those connections and make dial up a hellish experience....I remember around the late 90's and early 2000's I was able to stream interviews just fine...

Funny thing is, today dial-up still costs an average of $10 a month.. wow.

You're right. The early RealPlayer streams worked just fine over dial-up. I remember that. Now the dial-up speeds aren't even an option (or if they are, I'm not looking for them!). ^ Yes, it's $10 everywhere, really. Better than the $30 it used to be...

Looky looky here's a picture I cropped from the Gold (Extended Edition) liner notes. Anyone who wants to use it here or somewhere else, be my guest.

Nice... nice... Good ones. It's not much but a fast cut, but it's all I can come up with for this minute. (what size are we sticking to?) Will make many soon.
