1. In the song "A Good Living", the chorus line "If you can't make a good living" can be misheard as "If you can't let go completely". Was this intentional?

1. Interesting, no it was not intentional...I just listened to it and I guess it could sound like I'm singing that...Who knew..
I did! Grin

I wonder if that means re-releasing even the albums that have already been on vinyl again or just getting the ones that have never been on vinyl in the first place out?  Still pretty cool.

I am still strongly against this.  Not only would it be horrible and ruin the collect ability of the band it would also make all of my frame Starflyer records worthless.

So save your pennies and I mean that literally and buy them on E-bay.

They hardly ever appear on eBay.  I know - I've been watching for years and you see maybe one a year.

I have a lot of collectible stuff myself, but I still think the idea of collectiblity is a little crazy.  There are starving kids in the world and someone is paying $200 fora copy of The Drop?  That's just insane to me....

In my opinion, I disagree: you and others would still have the original pressings, and making new ones over a decade later does not negate the fact they're still original pressings. The demand for getting, for example, a copy of Gold on vinyl at all would be lessened, sure, but there are always others who will want to collect all pressings possible, meaning what you have is not worthless.

What Jono said.

Some of us don't give a darn about collectability and just want to listen to Starflyer on vinyl. Why should we be have to pay premium for an original pressing of Gold (and compete with the collectors who have hundreds of dollars to drop on those vinyls) when a rerelease would suit us just fine?

What would be really cool - but probably way expensive - would be a box set vinyl re-issue.  SF59: Decade One (vinyl edition). Silver through Old in a cool box.  Then, after 2014, they could do SF59: Decade Two.  I am the Portuguese Blues through whatever comes out by then.  Cool, but probably waaaayyy expensive.

I also wonder if he has ever thought about putting the eps out on vinyl?  Maybe that can also be part of the box sets.

I doubt Jason would want to release ALL of his work in a box, for a pretty cheap price. Tongue
