Yeah, some of them were pretty bad.

The only one I remember being truly great was The Deluxtone Rockets' first album.

I think some--no, just about all--of the Plastiq Musiq releases through Tooth & Nail could have had better artwork. House of Wires's first one was good, though--and done by the same folks who did The Fashion Focus, in fact.

I've added info about the album to the wiki. I'm not totally sure about the verses of "Wake Up, Make Up", and I'm completely baffled by a few lines in "Diary".

The new album was not the full-length I was expecting either. I'm actually really disspaointed with it....after all these years this is the best they could bring to the table?

With it being a side project not constantly simmering on the back burner, I don't believe time between the releases should be a factor. If it was being worked on since '02, I'd agree. I think they were recording in January last year at the earliest, and that's a generous "top of the head" estimate...

It's not as long as I would have hoped for, but I think the quality of the songs more than makes up for it.

Upon further consideration, someone should kick whoever it was that decided to master the songs so loud.

that goes for just about everyone doing mastering these days.  other than wilco/loose fur and sonic youth records, mastering ruins just about all music coming out today.

I've yet to find this infamous album in any stores. And I have checked many. I've resorted to ordering both the new BV and the new Joy E from Tooth and Nail directly.

I've never had problems with finding a place that is selling the newest releases. What gives? Angry

Dang. Is T&N putting even less effort into promoting these bands than before?

They could have at least done ecards for Joy E. and Bon Voyage's new ones.

Which song from "Lies" was a cover?

"Girlfriend in a Coma". It's a Smiths song.

If you get it at a cheap price, go ahead. HUGE dissapointment in my opinion, though. Not long enough, 3 fillers, could have just waited and put more effort into it. But, oh well. It's alright.
