I don't see the Some Kind of Zombie reference. I listened to that album a couple times years ago. They both have distorted guitars - but not that similar sounding. Way different vocal styles.

Greeny, if you had said they sound like Audio Adrenaline from Underdog or Lift, I could see your point, but Some Kind of Zombie? The album with prominent keyboards parts and strings backing half the songs? Of course, even with Lift-era AudioA, the only similarity I can see between them and that "Coupleskate" song is the distorted guitars.
Is "Coupleskate" really Joe Christmas' best song?

lol Yeah, Some Kind of Zombie is much more raw. Coupleskate in particular sounds like a (very) indie version of Chevelle . I'm not saying it's the same, just saying I could see Joe Christmas making a song like Chevelle after a few years since it has a similar concept. But whatever, I'm always the odd one out making suggestions.  |

These are all pretty rockin and worth checking out.
Also does anyone remember the split fluffy vs phantasmic disc? zack from joe christmas song on some fluffy songs.
