So will we ever find out who these mysterious people are?
If they ever tour, maybe one of us can sneak backstage and take some covert pictures.

Neon Horse Revealed
Seattle, WA (Reuters) - Seattle's Tooth and Nail Records has announced the members of the "mystery" band Neon Horse, the newest band on their label.
Lead vocals - Jeff Cloud (owner of the indie Huntington Beach, CA label "Velvet Blue Music") Background vocals - Mark Salomon (front man of Stavesacre, formerly on the Tooth and Nail roster) Lead Guitar - Jason Martin (visionary behind Starflyer 59 and Starflyer 2000) Additional Guitars - Josh Dooley (guitarist for the former band "Fine China" and political activist) Bass Guitar - Dirk Lemmenes (Stavesacre bassist) Keyboards - Ronnie Martin (younger brother of lead guitarist Jason Martin) Drummer - Wayne Everett (ex-con, convicted of streaking at a Promise Keepers festival in Dallas, TX)
Says Brandon Ebel, owner of Tooth and Nail Records, "This group of misfits is very fortunate to be signed to a label as awesome as Tooth and Nail. I can't say we'll promote their record anymore than we've promoted a Joy Electric album, but I need a few bad discs to cut back on the income taxes, you know what I'm saying?"
Neon Horse currently has no plans to tour. Sales of their debut self-titled disc have been good, and that may change in the future. This from Cloud, who also doubles as the group's manager. "We just enjoy playing music together," he adds.
the above is a joke

heh heh. You almost had me there until the 'ex-con' thing and the quote. I just ordered my copy of Neon Horse, along with The Brothers Martin, yesterday. (Thank God for wives who buy things like amazon.com gift certificates!)

But on the Moe's Southwest Grill wiki page it says:
'The implied character named "Moe" is entirely fictitious and is actually an acronym for "Musicians, Outlaws, and Entertainers."'

Yeah, kinda figured even at first sight. Too weird. But so is Neon Horse, soo.. had to ask.
In their music video 'Cuckoo!', who is the main character who is always running? And who then investigates the Neon Horse booklet. That's not Norman Horse, is it?
If not, anyone know who that is? Could be the other vocalist.

heh heh. You almost had me there until the 'ex-con' thing and the quote. Actually, Wayne Everett was arrested for streaking at a PK festival. The person singing "Cukoo" in the track of the same title actually sounds like Wayne's vocals (listen to the bgvs on Americana or Lassie Foundation albums). Travis Zimmerman is probably the lead vocalist. It definitely sounds like vocals from The Emergency. Of course, Mark Salomon sings, too. Actually, much of Neon Horse sounds like The Emergency/Enemy Ships.

Wouldn't Mark Salomon's vocals be considered lead? As for the crazy, annoying singing - Travis Zimmerman if you will - I am not sure what his vocals would be considered. I guess it is a bit difficult to figure out who would be considered lead vocalist since equal amounts of singing are done by both people. Besides, it's supposed to be a secret! Respect the horse.
