There has been talk of this band consisting of Mark Salomon (Stavesacre), Jason Martin & other *secret* members. I've listened to a few of the songs and it definitely sounds like Salomon on vocals and Jason on guitar. Also, I noticed the synth in one of the songs sounded like the synth in a Brothers Martin song. And since Ronnie Martin did the synths for the Brothers Martin album that leads me to believe that Ronnie must be involved with Neon Horse as well. Any thoughts? http://myspace.com/neonhorsehttp://www.toothandnail.com/artist_releaseinfo.php?id=286

Hmmm... Sounds too different (to me) for me to think either of the Martin Brothers are involved. I noticed on top friends they have "David Bowie" and "DEVO". Oh oh, this will be interesting to compare them to the future Macrosick.

Do they play live shows? If so, do they all have costumes and masks on, or what? How do they preserve their anonymity?

Yes, they are VERY 'Devo'. I like it. And the 'secret band' thing just makes the appeal greater. Hmm, another thing to add to the WTB list. ...but exactly where does one buy their album? The web site seems to be down (it redirects to equestrian-supply.net).

I'm not sure I hear the DEVO comparisons, unless we're just speaking of sheer bizarreness. The opening chords of "Crazy Daisy" did remind me of something from DEVO's first album.

I guess the generally bizarre nature and the creativity...I'm not as familiar as you are with Devo's back catalogue, just the odd single I've heard here and there.

Hmmm... Sounds too different (to me) for me to think either of the Martin Brothers are involved. Listen to the intro to Communication by Bros Martin and then listen to the intro to Cuckoo. That should clear up any doubt of Jason's involvement. If you listen pretty close I think he plays most of the guitar. I'd also guess that Steven Dail plays bass and Alex Albert plays drums, but Dirk Lemmennes is another distinct possibility for bass.

With that in mind, it does seem like much more like it now. But there could always be just similarities, right?

I love it.
So will we ever find out who these mysterious people are?
