What did you guys think of it?

I liked it a lot, and 'Opportinities' is still in my head.

Can't wait for another album already. Smiley

Great album and from a comment by Ronnie about updating his studio there may be more Brothers Martin in the future!  My favorite tracks from the album are:
The Plot That Weaves
Fears To Remember
The Harsh Effect Of Time

Thanks. I tried 'the brothersmartin', but that's just an empty page with only Tom as the friend. Not sure why they did that. Sad

Yeah I don't understand those empty fan pages all over myspace.  Why are they made if no songs are uploaded? Huh  Weird.
What gets me is: there's the same photo, but there's nothing on the page. Oh well.

I was really stoked to hear about this project when it was first announced, and was even going to pre-order it, but then i quit my job and had no way to pay for it, and havent been able to get it yet.  I absolutely love everything that I have heard so far though.

Yeah, same here, in a sense; although I've never had a job to begin with so I've been spending my precious few dollars on other items that might not be around as long. Undecided

And I have intentionally kept myself from listening to any of the material so all of it will be completely fresh once I do get the album (and I'll probably get the LP before I get the CD, since the LP is limited edition).

Well, I just got my copy in the mail today. I haven't listened to it all the way through yet, but have to say: this is a great effort that takes the best of Jason and Ronnie and mixes it together. Ronnie's synths with Jason's guitar...wow. I'm very happy with this effort. It's not Joy Electric, it's not Starflyer 59, it's something else entirely, and a good 'something else' indeed.

This album kicks serious butt. It is amazing. I listened to it over and over again almost all day long yesterday. Ronnie+Jason=pure magic.

It's a great album, but I was a little disappointed by it (which is understandable, considering I'd been waiting for a collaboration between these two since I found out they were brothers).

I just thought it was a bit too piecemeal, if you know what I mean.  They seemed to be taking turns more than collaborating.  "Communication" is my favourite song of the disc, and as I recall, was the only one where the writing credit was shared.  I was also disappointed that at no point did they sing together.

That having been said, it still kicks some serious A.  This was just wishful thinking on my part, I guess.  Whatever the case, I hope they put out some more albums in the future.

Yeah, I'd want to hear of that also.
But I can't imagine a song with both of them doing vocals at the same time..
