So, I was thinking about Easy Come, Easy Go Part 2 and what songs should represent each album. It also got me thinking about the original ECEG and if there would be any changes if I had my way. So, here are my picks for ECEG and ECEG 2 (which doesn't exist if anyone's wondering.) 3 songs from each album is the rule....
ECEG
Silver:

2nd Space Song (replaces Monterey)
The Dungeon (replaces Hazelwould)
Gold:

The Fashion Focus:
Sundown (replaces I Drive A Lot)

Too Much Fun (replaces Fell In Love At 22)
Everybody Makes Mistakes:
Play The C Chord
No New Kind Of Story
A Dethroned King (replaces 20 Dollar Bills)

I Like Your Photgraphs
Night Music
Old:
Underneath
Major Awards
First Heart Attack
I Am the Portuguese Blues:
Wake Up Early
Teens In Love
Sound On Sound
Talking Voice vs. Singing Voice:

This was a very difficult list to compile in some cases and I'm sure there will be some large disagreements.
But it's fun anyway. Debate away!

Night Life
*Chosen solely because, in my mind, tracks 7, 8, and 9 of LHaS are a single, cohesive unit. If its inclusion is unacceptable (it is a rather weak song, outside its proper context), rather than including "I Like Your Photographs" and "Night Music", I'd prefer:

Ok. I'm in. The following would make a great ECEG2. Not necessarily the best songs from each album, but the best collection of "singles":

I highly doubt this will be the final product. I don't think they will choose 3 songs from IATPB. Although they should, its a great album that unfortunately has a bad rep amongst fans.

Didn't Jason say somewhere that this WAS a possibility...or does he just say that as like anything could happen kind of thing...
If it did I would want unreleased/rare stuff on it.....
And I personally love IAPB. It is one of my favorites. Never heard anyone complain about it but that's the way I usually work the one most don't like I do....

I guess that's based on the fact that they used tracks 1,2,3 or tracks 1,2,4 for every album on ECEG. I always thought that was sort of strange. But anyway, if ECEG 2 is made WITHOUT I Like Your Photographs, I won't be very happy... |
