Hey all, I don't know how to set up a poll but I was curious of all the albums, which packaging, including inserts, you are the most impressed with? Obviously, the Easy Come Easy Go is the best but it is not an "album" and so I'll exclude it. To be honest, most albums have disappointing artwork but I would have to say that "Silver" is my favourite, followed by "Old" and "Fashion Focus".

Great response Nikabrik! To be honest I had never really paid attention to the fonts, I more or less just looked at the pictures. I think I'll have to go over these again, but my top 3 will probably still remain. I really like My Island also but wished for a few band pictures. I always picture Starflyer as a studio band and some candids of them recording would have been a great addition.

Well, it's not so much that I've spend lots of time thinking about it... it's just that I'm a graphic designer who mostly designs album artwork and music-related materials, so I really look at these things.

I love the solid color albums. I wish they had continued with the theme. Other than that I think Le Vainqueuer is the best.

I looked at your site, and I must say you have some impressive designs!

Hey thanks... that site is in desperate need of an update... none of my work from the past 16 months is up there. There's probably 5 or 6 newer album designs alone that should be on there. You can see some covers / back covers of a few of them at http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=59646&id=711695214.

Just sent you a friend request...I think you have to be friends before you can see other people's albums.

I spent hours studying all the fake vinyl records in "Gold", so that's probably my favorite. However, the Le Vainqueuer gatefold and actual CD are up there. (BTW - Do we still need photos of Le Vainqueuer?)

I have a used copy and the digipak is a bit beat up. I'm definitely open to seeing someone else's scan of it. Yeah, mine's a tad beat up, but not bad at all , but heck, the thing's 13 years old and has gone through various moves. I don't think anyone that bought their's from that era has one in perfect condition, especially if they played it like I did. I'm most disappointed in the scratches on the back of the disc itself. It still plays, but sheesh.... embarrassing. I'm still up for scanning or photographing mine if the site needs it. I guess I just insert the photos into a post like this?
