We used to have some rules written down, but it seems that thread has fallen off the face of the Earth. Apparently we have been in a state of well-behaved anarchy for the past few months. That ends today (the anarchy part, not the well-behaved part)!

Here are The Rules:

1. Use your common sense. Don't be a jerk, don't post anything that could get you fired from work, that sort of thing.

2. No cussin'. Those of us who don't take offense at four-letter words should defer to those who do. Romans 14: 14-15 is the guiding principle.

3. Images in signatures: Please limit them to 100 pixels in height.

...and those rules pretty much boil down to "Keep on doing what you've been doing." You guys are all great.

Aren't all the cuss words edited out now anyway?

Word filters are easy to circumvent, once you figure out how.

The true function of forum word filters is that they force one to choose between profanity and laziness.

I'm making a quick little bump so people who are newer to the forums can understand the sourcing of our particular word censor system, which is more tongue-in-cheek than anything else.

The original article appears to be defunct, so here's an archived link.
