I think the reason why you go to a store is because you want something that is immediate and that you can return if you need to. Plus when you order online sometimes it could take a week or more to get your stuff. The price of most things online under $50 can be drastically affected by the price of shipping.

Sure, but most of the time it's cheaper than at a store.

But yeah, shipping takes a while. I'd go to Fry's more but it's 30 miles from here. Sad

I guess it depends on what you're buying and where you're buying it from. Fry's is about 15 miles from my house or about 25-30 minutes away. If I'm headed in that direction it's worth stopping there. I like Fry's because the staff doesn't harass you if you come in to the store. Most of the time they just ignore you. It's nice if you've ever had problems with sales people who just want to harass you.

I haven't seen any cows at the one near me, but Fry's also has a grocery store chain.

The Fry's Electronics in Dallas has these cows near the top of the store. Fenced in and everything. They even used to 'moo'. I figured that must be part of the Fry's image and that all locations had them.

No cows at mine. Maybe there are cowboy techies there? Smiley

I love Fry's too. Got a $70 router refurbished for $29.99, and it works like a charm.

Hmm, I'd have to go to Frys again to see what our store's theme is (I'm in Atlanta). I need to get another wireless card for my laptop; it drops connection all the time, so I tried another card and found that the problem is the card. A relief, because I didn't want to replace the router. Grin
