MySpace bulletin this morning:
"The new Starflyer 59 album "Dial M" has just been completed and is off to be mixed next week by JR McNeely. We are looking at a late summer/early fall release with select tour dates to follow. We are very pleased with the results and hope you enjoy the new record. More info, new songs, et cetera coming soon."
Looks like I was first on the scene!

Good to hear and I think that "Dial M" is a pretty cool album title. I for one have not heard any of the ghosts to the future stuff and so it will all be new to me. This is turning out to be a good year for music.

Maybe there will be some songs in addition to the Ghosts a-sides. Wouldn't be the first time a Starflyer album had more than 10 tracks.

I like short albums, less room for filler. That's why I like EP's over albums. EP's have less tracks and usually no filler. I'm thankful Jason is smart and keeps the albums short.
I think "Dial M" is a silly album title, but none of his albums have had great titles.....

GOTF has pretty cool artwork from what I've seen. I didn't order it, though. I have no record player and $60+ bucks is steep right now. I should buy it before you have to sell your soul for a copy like you do for "goodbyes are sad" on Ebay. |
