Does anyone here listen to Havalina Rail Co?

If you don't already, I suggest you go to their downloads page and download "Russian Lullabies" and "We Remember Anarchy" posthaste.

Also, check out the band that rose from the ashes of Havalina: Matt Death and the New Intellectuals. And pray that they finally find a distributor for Death on the Pacific.

PS: Matt Wignall from Havalina is a professional photographer. He shot the b/w pictures in the Leave Here a Stranger liner notes.

PPS: If, like me, you don't care for the original song order on Russian Lullabies, I suggest the following alternate order:
1. Tundra
2. Kaliningrad
3. Red and Blue (In St Petersburg)
4. Traffic in Moscow
5. Changes and Forms
6. The Lovesick Blues of a Young Soviet Proletariat
7. Siberian Safari
8. Nathan's Song
9. Rivers of Russia
10. Total Depravity
11. Before Ararat
12. Winter
13. Love Song
14. Russian Lullaby
15. Twilight Time

Here's some super rare Havalina tracks. I snagged them off the Havalina messageboard a few years back.

I used to have the tracks from an entire Cornerstone performance, but I seem to have deleted them. (The sound quality wasn't very good if I recall correctly.) If you want those, I think Toddbox on the Havalina forum has them.

Two versions, the album and the EP version. Which do you need?

Holy crap news guys!

I sent Matt Death a message:
Quote
Has there been any news about the release of Death On The Pacific? I thought I read that Monarchy Records was putting it out, but their website doesn't say anything about it (and it hasn't been updated since last summer, yikes).

If you've been asked this a million times already, then I'm sorry for bugging you.

He replied:

for now it will be released as a free album over the internet. check back here every now and again and it will be announced sooner than later.

AWESOME.

Does anyone by any chance have the Russian Lullabies or The Bullfighter's Guide to Space and Love EP info?

I'm wanting to touch up wikipedia's Havalina articles, and those are the only releases for which I don't have the relevant info: band lineup, guest musicians, production credits.
