So as to not divert the Richard Swift thread I figured I'd start a new thread to post some Lank Frenz info: Frank Lenz's Discography: (2002) The Hot Stuff(2003) The Last Temptation of Frank Lenz(2004) Conquest Slaughter(2005) Brothers Who Are Breathing 7" (2006) Vile Lenz and ThievesFrank was once a member of Company, Cush, The Emergency/Enemy Ships, Fold Zandura, Headphones, Hot Stuff the band, Shepherd, Starflyer 59. Has worked with tons of different bands on tons of different albums. Is a very, very talented guy. http://myspace.com/franklenzhttp://www.somewherecold.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=65&page=1I am probably forgetting something. He has been very busy.

Francis Albert Lenz has gone through some tough times. He practically made the sound on TVvsSV (he did all the string and wind arrangements), and his drumming is top-notch. The only other drummer I've ever seen comparable to him is Wayne Everett. BTW, Wayne played on some of Gold all the way through The Fashion Focus. He has a solo album available from Northern Records, and also did vocals for The Lassie Foundation. http://www.myspace.com/thelassiefoundation

Don't forget that Frank was a member of the Lassie Foundation too!
I have all his cds except The Last Temptation of Frank Lenz - I have a few of the mp3s from his myspace but does anyone actually have this album?
Man I love Frank's drumming - he is MUCH better than Wayne Everett by the way and Wayne is practically one of my favorite drummers.

I honestly have little respect for the guy. Anyone who gets his panties in a twist over what people say about his music on message boards and preceeds to write "message board kids can suck my d***" or whatever has lost respect in my book. I honestly can't see why he needed to write or care about what kids say on the VBM boards in particular, most likely. Grow up.

Careful, Le Vainqueur! You'll bring the wrath of Lenz down on us all!
I don't care much for the solo stuff I've heard from him, but I love his work on Richard Swift's music. And Map's Secrets by the Highway.
And his BGV's on Old are one of my favorite parts of the entire album. "JUST WHEN YOU RE-HUH-LIIIIIIZE! WOO HOO HOO!"

Really? I could have sworn Cloud's studio journal said it was Lenz who did those.
That, and nothing I've heard from Swift's studio music sounds like those vocals at all.
