I love everything Frank works on. He even drummed for the Lost Dogs. I liked his Hot Stuff stuff but I can't get into his other solo stuff. He is an interesting character to say the least and I have heard he has gone through some times and he does seem a lot more jadded and angry and hurt then in the past. I guess we all get that way sometimes but we just don't get to make songs about it for others to hear

I honestly have little respect for the guy. Anyone who gets his panties in a twist over what people say about his music on message boards and preceeds to write "message board kids can suck my d***" or whatever has lost respect in my book. I honestly can't see why he needed to write or care about what kids say on the VBM boards in particular, most likely. Grow up.
How'd you find out that Mr. Lenz wears panties?

My coworker was Frank's roommate in college. He says that Frank was DEFINITELY an odd character.

I'm pretty sure Frank was responsible for the helium vocals on Old! More than pretty sure actually! I would love for he and Jason to work on another Starflyer record again. Talking Voice vs Singing Voice is probably my TOP Starflyer record. I literally never get tired of it. I got to talk to him at two Starflyer shows back in 04 and he was just super super nice! He was even kind enough to take a copy of my band's current demo!

Yes. Did you like it? How does it compare with his prior works?

Yes, it's good. Most of the songs are fairly short (being a soundtrack and all.) I like his previous stuff better (The Hot Stuff, Last Temptation, etc), but it's still a nice listen.

Careful, Le Vainqueur! You'll bring the wrath of Lenz down on us all!
I don't care much for the solo stuff I've heard from him, but I love his work on Richard Swift's music. And Map's Secrets by the Highway.
And his BGV's on Old are one of my favorite parts of the entire album. "JUST WHEN YOU RE-HUH-LIIIIIIZE! WOO HOO HOO!"
i thought that was swift? he sang the parts at the show i saw them when they were touring on Old. hmmm...

No, never went to either one. The Gate was closed by the time we moved here. I once saw an old tour schedule for The Violet Burning that showed them playing there. Did anything else worth mentioning ever make a stop?
