as for me, the rainbow rider record is the one who really does it for me. Very pop melodies over noisy tracks that have everchanging tempos (sometimes 3 times in one song). A bit Auchtere or Aphex Twin at times, but darnit, its a great record.

jesus is good for primal scream/my bloody valentine fans. very swirly and creepy, great record.

songs and stories is classic. jason told me there were alot more whawah guitars all over the tracks, but Mike Knott took them out! er...oh well...

ever heard them, great records..

I'm not sure if this has been pointed out before, but there are a couple Dance House Children videos here:

Ronnie sings in a swing with his shirt off.

Enjoy.

So there is:

Dance House Children - CASSETTE?...   Songs and Stories
Dance House Children - CD...                Jesus / original 1992 Blonde Vinyl new sealed CD
Dance House Children - CD...                Jesus (was re-released by Millennium Eight Records for a limited time)
Dance House Children - CD...                Rainbow Rider: Beautiful Dazzling Music No. 1
Dance House Children - VINYL...           Rainbow Rider 7" - We'll Last So Long

Question 1. - was Songs and Stories only put out on Cassette?
Question 2. - Jason Martin was only in "Songs and Stories" and "Jesus", NOT Rainbow Rider?

Thanks so much~!

jesus is good for primal scream/my bloody valentine fans. very swirly and creepy, great record.

i would definitely go with "jesus" as my fave of the DHC days.
i also agree with "rainbow rider" being too much treble.
good songs, but hard to listen to at times.

Songs & Stories was release on CD - I have a copy of it.  Also, Rainbow Rider was re-released by Velvet Blue Music with a bonus track and a new cover.  See this page for details:
