I don't see a thread for this album on here so I thought I'd get one started. I am still waiting on this album because it is on backorder with T&N. But what I've heard of it from the JE myspace sounds really awesome. Really looking forward to getting this.

Does anyone else like it? How would you rank it in the history of Joy Electric albums?

The songs are just so song-y. It seems to me Ronnie didn't go at this album with a concept like he's been doing since The Tick Tock Treasury... the songs just sound like they came to life of their own accord with very little sculpting. They are wonderful.

Some people think it's his best work, while others can't get over the vocals. I enjoy it in small doses. The vocals are an octave lower and much less polished.
