I know the wiki gives years of release, but I have questions on where some albums fit within the same year.

Here's what I've got:

Silver
Queen
Gold
LeVanquer
Americana
Plugged
Fashion Focus
Fell in Love @ 22
Everybody Mistakes
Easy Come Easy Go
Leave Here a Stranger
*Can't Stop Eating
*Live at the Paradox
*Old Demos
*Old
Port Blues
Last Laurel
TV vs. SV
*Silver/Gold Reissue
Never PLay Covers
I Win
My Island

I think I've got it except for the * songs.   And how about vinyl versions and 7"?

I'm pretty sure the reissues of Silver and Gold were just after Never Play Covers.

This and this might help!

(The bottom of the second link isn't updated yet with the newest Ghosts stuff. It's a website issue.)

If some of these dates are wrong, or can be added to, please let me know. I manage that part of MusicMoz.

(BTW Meta, I think you are right, too; I just have June '05 for Never Play Covers, but I'm sticking with they were shipped out, i.e., released, on the first of said month. The rereleases were later)

There's no real way to be sure of the exact release dates but that link seems accurate enough. And it looks like Silver was released after "never play covers" just like Metaphoragizery said.

Plugged was released before Americana. That should be obvious by looking at the track-listing. If that's not obvious enough then sit down and read the ECEG booklet.
Also, Live @ the Paradox came out before Can't Stop Eating.

I'm curious about the "Portuguese Blues" vinyl EP. Did that come out before or after the full album I Am the Portuguese Blues? I would assume before, since Richard Swift was still with the band at that point.

It's odd, because I didn't find out "Portuguese Blues" even existed until after Talking Voice vs. Singing Voice came out, so I thought at the time that it had been recorded years ago, and some kind of label problems had held up its release. Ha.

I bought like 6 copies of it when it came out.  If I remember correctly (and I'm often wrong... LOL), it was a BTV release and it came after the album release.  It did kind of come out of nowhere though.  I sold 2 or 3 copies on Ebay for more than double what I paid , so I'm guessing not very many people knew about it.

I researched it a little while ago and the following is what I came up with:

Originally due Jul 2003--before _I am the Portuguese Blues_
Songs were written and recorded in early 2003, and inspired the 2004 full-length "I Am The Portuguese Blues."
