Silver Christmas!?

It might be me, but I never seem to be in the mood for "Silver", but at christmas (and yes, I know its not christmas yet) I just have to listen to it. "Silver" gives me a kind of feel good christmasy feeling, don't know why. Am I alone in this? 

The songs "The Zenith" and "2nd Space Song" are especaily christmasy to me.

Summertime? Just the name "Silver" is more of a wintery word rather than a summery one. What makes you want to play it in the summer?

This can go either way for me. Silver does have a good cold weather feel to it, especially on rainy days. but i can also see it being a summer record. While we are on the subject of seasonal feeling records, Gold also has a summer and winter feel for me. Summer: It has to do with 90 degree days and insane amounts of feedback. Winter: It has to do with 30 degree days and insane amounts of feedback.

LOL... call me crazy, but I think the actual SF59 Xmas songs put me in the festive spirit the best. "I'll be Home for Christmas" is super chill.  It loosely reminds me of "Monterey [Lounge Version]" from the She's the Queen EP.  I think I'm associating the two because of the brushed snare. 


Side note:

The "Silver Christmas" heading made me laugh.  It made me think of "Silver Bells" and "White Christmas" all rolled into one crazy choir driven, Bing Crosby ditty.
