The SF59 Bio on the Tooth and Nail website was updated recently, with Jason talking a good bit about Dial M.

iiiiiiiiinteresting.

Sounds like they went with the acoustic version of Mr Martin over the electric one. And they renamed "God Forbid" and changed the chorus lyrics of "M23".

It sounds as though it's just Ghosts of the Future. I thought we were in for something new.

BTW, what's the deal with the bio. There's a typo and it's a little gushy.

There's a number of spelling errors.

Well if GotF were Demos, then I'd say it should be pretty different. SF59's Demos have a different sound.

I doubt that the whole album will be just songs from ghosts of the future. And even if it is, it said that "Concentrate" no longer had any guitar in it and that he'd changed the chorus on "M23". I'm sure it will sound quite different either way

That's hardly news. The very first announcement of the Ghosts of the Future boxset said the 10 a-sides would be demos from the next album. Then BTV's announcement of the Dial M vinyl version said there would be 10 tracks and one bonus track.

Does anyone know if they're going to allow people to pre-order the CD like they did with "My Island"?

Dunno, does it really matter that much? It's not like all the copys are going to disappear the moment it's released....is it?

Well, they shipped "My Island" the weekend before the official release date.  I don't know, I just like getting my copy as early as I can...just an obsession of mine.  Smiley

Sounds like they went with the acoustic version of Mr Martin over the electric one.

The idea that would happen definitely crossed my mind a few times once I heard the album would be more acoustic in nature.

(I'm really curious how "Black Jacket" turned out. That one is so crazy.)

And I'm really starting to wonder about the tracklist. So far we have "Minor Keys" first, "Concentrate" third, and "I Love You Like the Little Bird" is last. That's cool.

Aww... my eyes were watery as I got to the end of the bio.
