Im pretty sure that Spinanes mp3 is the one with Sam Prekop on it.. it seems like someone mislabeled it back in the day, if I remember it correctly
Sam Prekop is from a band called The Sea and Cake. Nothing to do with sf59

I don't think this is a good question for Jason, this one is more for the fans: Is SF59 planning on re-releasing Americana? It would make sense.. since it's the only other solid art cover album that's not yet re-released.

If this were a just world, I think albums one through three should be reissued in a neat little boxed set (and if I were in charge of it, I'd have them unremastered and with original artwork). Maybe for a twentieth anniversay (2014) or something...

Ooooh.. That would truly be the year of SF59.. But by then I'd expect a full Discography Box Set.

Given sf59's actual popularity, you are correct, but, like I said, in a just world, sf59 would be more legendary if not still very popular, so new fans would want to get their hands on the first recordings when they're 20-some years old, I think.

I definitely agree the older albums should be rereleased, but Jason said here (question 10) that there's no telling whether that will happen or not.

I can't remember his name, but I do remember talking to the guy from ABC Doc Group who funded the Leave Here a Stranger vinyl pressing. In that same vein, have you had other people approach you to fund other vinyl projects and do you like working on projects like that with others?

Hopefully he'll say he likes working with others, and he had an especially good experience with the Bros. Martin LP... We gave him the choice of Bros. Martin and My Island and he picked Bros. Martin. It was a cool experience for me.

I've heard that you are producing a new EP for Stavesacre. It seems you've known those guys for a long time. Do you find it easier to produce music for your friends or for people that you don't really know? Especially in terms of suggesting ideas.

I read an old interview where you said that you thought only certain people could pull of singing about their faith without it sounding out of place (or words to that effect, I can't remember the exact phrasing).
In recent years you've sung about your faith more often, so I wondered what's changed and how you think Christians should approach lyrics about their faith (how do you stop it sounding cheesy or jingoistic?)

Any thoughts about releasing another box set? You could do SF59 Decade in 2010.
