Aaaaaaaand now "Brightest of the Head" is playing on myspace. Same song that was on the T&N site. No other album preview tracks yet.

What's interesting is that you can buy "Brightest of the Head" from iTunes right now. Looks like that song's being promoted as this album's big single. As much as I love the song (heck, it's tied with "Minor Keys" for my favorite song from Ghosts), I don't think it's hit single material. I'da picked "Minor Keys" or "Concentrate" or "Automatic", because we all know the kids want a faster beat.

I agree; it's an excellent song, but, in my case, more of the type that grows on you rather than grabs you from the get-go. The others you've mentioned are definitely more of the latter type.

Amazon has most of the tracks up for a preview....they're low quality, but give you a general idea of how the songs are mixed in comparison to the GOTF tracks.

Wow. Concentrate has a big swing. I think I like it.

Definitely a lot of studio work on all the songs.

I still like "Magic" the best. Also "I Love You Like the Little Bird" is great.

License and registration pls, kthx.

It's too bad this song isn't on the new album.

And no sequined outfits, too. We've been deprived.

I like the Dial M cover. It reminds me a little of the TVvSV cover.

I haven't listened to much SF59 lately. Maybe I should.

"Taxi" and "Altercation" sounded abnormally fast. Anyone notice that? They probably sound better in context.

The way Jason sings "repeating all the grades" is just so awesome here.
