The current issue of HM has an article by Mark Solomon about Bon Voyage. It's short, but pretty good.

I didn't know that Mark Salomon was writing for HM. Is it an album review or an actual article about the band?

It's about the band. I would post it but I read it in the store and didn't buy it.

Yeah, Mark wrote a book. I'll see if I can find the article. I still have a free subscription from the days I used to write for the magazine.

I notice Mark didn't say anything about "Monster"/"Bad Dream", the one song he co-wrote on that album.

Cool article.

Microsoft Word has text recognition, which means if you scan text the computer can translate the scanned text into editable type. However, the OCR with Word isn't fool proof and requires rereading. But it sure is a lot easier than copying down a whole article.

Also notice how Mark didn't say anything about Neon Horse.

Yeah, he could have used the article to plug some of the stuff he was involved in but he didn't. He kept the focus on Jason and Julie. That's classy.

The Crucified was another pre-Tooth and Nail band.

He tried to be subtle because he said he wanted to still be allowed to go to a poker game at the Martin's house.

I think it was more about embarrassment...feeling a bit awkward around them after having said her vocals are sexy.
