Hello,

I own the fakebook and was trying to learn some songs, in particular "I Drive A Lot", "We're The Ordinary" and "No New Kind of Story".  According to the fakebook, those are some crazy chords.

Didn't Jason used to tune his guitar down 1/2 step?  Would someone be so kind as to put up the chords as played 1/2 step down?

Sometimes a half step, sometimes a whole step (and the lowest string another step down, to C).

Although not an immediate solution to your problem, we do have a quite a few chord sheets/tabs at http://tabwiki.com/index.php/Starflyer_59 which are written with the tuning changes taken into account. I hope that helps a little.

Also, rule of thumb is, each half step the guitar is tuned down, each half step up a chord needs to be to sound the same. For example, if your chord is "B" in standard tuning, tuning the whole guitar down a half step will mean you will play the C chord to get the same sound as the "B" from earlier--and that's a lot easier!

Here you go: http://vagrantcafe.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=27

what you need to do is sign up to the Vagrant Cafe on Velvet Blue's website and search "The Missing Chapter".

warning, you have to pay $5 to be able to 'search' the vagrant cafe. stupid to me, but oh well.

i only divert you there opposed to posting because i printed out the post by J. Dooley which has not http address at the bottom.  the only info i have is title of the thread he posted in which explains all the Starflyer tuning quirks listed by era. its good stuff, but i can't write it all out. sorry.
