...since T&N isn't going to do it (which I don't see why, they have the money...they made over $15 million the first four years of existence).
Word of mouth, through the internet, etc. Hopefully we can get some banners for it so that those of us that have private sites, frequent message boards, send viral emails, etc., etc. can help get the word out.

Does T&N promote any other bands?
Besides the hundreds of ads before you can reach their actual website...

And of course, it's always free to start a blog at like blogspot or something. I've started them for a variety of reasons, and you can have multiple blogs. Then put up banners and links, song reviews, and make sure to put keywords in your blogs that people will be searching for.
In fact, I might start one later this week, I'll post the link in here.

Has SF59 ever done anything like a "street team" to help promote their albums? I remember seeing that a lot of bands were doing that kind of thing a few years back. I never joined one and I'm not even sure what they do or if it is a successful way to promote a band, but I wanted to just throw the thought out there.
Sidenote: I do remember LHAS being promoted a lot more than the other albums. I went to a show and afterwards Jason gave me some promo materials to put up at the christian bookstore I worked at.

One word: Underoath. Of course, there's also Norma Jean, Ivoryline, and Family Force 5 which were all heavily advertised as well.

What kind of advertising?

Viral internet advertising, as well as for XBOX Live.

I mentioned the album (and linked to the streaming thing at Relevant) on an open thread at a pretty popular blog.
And on the two other forums that I hang out on, I changed my forum signature to "Shameless plug for my favorite band," with a link to the SF myspace page.
