Didn't waste any time, did we?  Wink

I'll have to own the album in order to vote.

Well, most of us already heard the album on that site. Tongue

But that is correct, time is very valuable.  Grin

I voted M23, but i also really like Minor Keys, I love you like the little bird, and the extra song which doesn't make the cut.

M23 is by far the sweetest song I have heard all year long!  I was totally shocked to hear the more acoustic feel Jason went with this song.

Magic and Guitar Man

Not sure if you can really count "Guitar Man" as a Starflyer 59 song, as it's a cover.  Magic also doesn't really have it's place in this thread as it's not a 'proper album track.'  IE...I wouldn't be able to vote "Never Had One" as my favorite "Fashion Focus" song (not that it would be anyways).

I'm inclined to include "Majic" since it did make it onto the vinyl version.

Anyway, I'm torn. "M23" took the song in a slightly different direction than the demo version, but it's just as good in its own way -- which is saying something, considering the demo was tied with "Minor Keys" for my favorite track from Ghosts.

But "Concentrate" is even better than the demo version, which caught me completely by surprise. It's Dial M's answer to "Loved Ones" or "Good Sons".

Added "Majic".

My star ratings:
3/5 - Minor Keys
2/5 - Concentrate
1/5 - M23

Nothing higher than Minor Keys. Sue me. Kiss

Actually, I'm thinking to change that to 4/5. It's growing on me slowly.

Concentrate is nice, but The Plot that Weaves is a better song.

And "I Like Your Photographs" is better than either.

I'm just comparing recent material while you mentioned a song that was written more than 5 years ago.

Just thought everybody should know, they've included "Magick" or "Magic" or whatever on the iTunes download.

We were talking about songs from this album, while you mentioned a song from over a year ago.
