Jason Martin's Nova Satori

I did a search on this site for "Nova Satori" and nothing came up so just curious if anyone has this demo he did with Josh Dooley (ex-SF59/MAP) which was recorded before Gold came to be.  It is a pretty rough mix without any vocals.  I bought it was Dooley from the MAP myspace awhile back (through snocap).

I put some songs i recorded back in 1992 and 1993 under the name Nova Satori up for download. you can get them at www.myspace.com/thebandmap
I played guitar and wrote the music. Jason Martin of Starflyer 59 played drums and Davon Slininger played bass. the quality is not amazing since it is old and from a cassette recording. I put them up for fans that would be interested in some pre map pre Starflyer 59 songs. to make them more special they will only be available for the month of august.

Yeah,  I downloaded them and they're pretty cool.  I'd be hesitant about trading these as Josh Dooley was selling them from his myspace page at the time.  You could probably email him or send him a message and he could work something out....if he says he doesn't care about them getting out, I'd be glad to post them somewhere.

Oh, yeah, I do remember reading about that quite a while ago! I was surprised to learn Jason and Josh go back that far.

Huh. I remember hearing that Dooley was putting those tracks up, but I missed the fact that Jason had helped with them. If I had known that, I probably would have bought them.

Yeah, older ones... in fact, we have that interview where he claims he actually did most or all of the drums on Silver, but just put down the other name so it didn't look like he was doing everything.

Also, I think when Jason and Ronnie started playing together, Jason played the drums.
