I think being married and having kids will make you age more than smoking.
Also, driving a lot?

How you figure that? Smoking helps slow down oxygen through your blood and make your lungs full of tar. Playing outside in the park, in the sandbox, goofing around and being active with your kids, is actually a great way to stay young!

It's debatable for sure, but some newly married couples gain about 20-40 lbs. during the first year of marriage. Being married with children is also stressful, especially providing for your family.

I don't think you have to be married to look at before and after pictures of your married friends and relatives and see how they've grown older and gained weight in a few years. Everyone is different in terms of whether marriage is more or less stressful for each individual. To say that you have to be married to understand marital stress is an all-or-nothing statement.

My wife and were talking about how all of our friends that stayed single had actually gained more weight than our friends that got married. Most of our single friends eat out a lot, and our married friends stay at home and cook healthier meals. But studies have shown that the weight that some people gain during the first years of marriage usually have to do with some other factor, like changing to a less active job to make more money to support a house payment instead of a small apartment or something like that.
I guess everyone is different - I can't think of anyone that I know that gained weight after they got married (like me, it happened before). But it is a scientific fact that smoking does contribute to factors, like wrinkled skin, that makes you look older. Weight gain doesn't necessarily make you look older - 5 year olds can be overweight.

That's a fair post. Speaking of overweight 5-year-olds...

I've always thought Maury was like a tamer Jerry Springer. I want make a T-shirt that has a picture of Maury and says, "You are not the father!"
What's up with making all the kids walk around with their shirts off on the show? After watching this I realized I need to cut back on my intake of chocolate milk.

Would be even better if they had Starflyer 59 playing the whole Can't Stop Eating EP in the background. Now that would be a memory..

The first and only time I saw SF59 play was in June of 2005 in Minneapolis at 7th St. Entry, right next door to the famous First Avenue Club. I remember everyone in line and there was some "professional" wrestling event going on in First Avenue the same time of the show. It was funny because the line for the SF59 show got mixed with the hardcore, wrestling fans. After a while, all the people waiting for the SF59 show told the wrestling fans that they were in the wrong line and it pissed them off.
Anyways, I remember SF59 playing last at the show and not starting until like midnight, but it was awsome.
