It's out, and I like the sound (just listening via MySpace for now). "Brush Away the Cobwebs" makes me think of a Rankin/Bass special, for some reason. That's totally a good thing.

And "It Hurts to Hear You Speak" is just... classic Ronnie. I love that one.

Joy Electric would probably sound like this today if Ronnie hadn't decided to take it all-analog.

Yeah, i think if he wants to do something different, he really should just abandon synths... i mean he used drum machines on this? so.. shepherd was equally disappointing for me. so slow and dark and clausterphobic...

Frank Lenz is amazing but couldn't elevate that project for me either.

I love Ronnie's music but Joy Electric is the best. (more white songbook plz)
