yeah I have that vinyl, I wish I had the tracks on mp3.

dreaming for the gold would be awesome also.

I so seriously miss Joe Christmas.

I wish Summer Hymns was even remotely comparable.

What's your favorite track?

Coupleskate is best on Upstairs Overlooking.  and the first track (can't remember the name) is the best track on North to the future.

Easily one of my top three bands.

Grandaddy is the only near substitute.

I miss Joe Christmas.

i love yellow umbrella, couple skate and a pretty girl never lights her own cigarette.

They were just so friggin awesome. Man i wish they would get back together. But then it probably wouldn't be as awesome.

Anyways. if someone could upload that it would be sweet

Okay, I am a lazy moron.  I already had these files - I was making a Joe Christmas mp3 collection at one time and never finished.  So here is the collection of Joe Christmas seven-inch records and compilation appearances.  All that is missing are the two early Joe Christmas demos.  One was called Oatmeal.  The other was a 6 song demo by the original version of Joe Christmas when they were called Crayon.  One song from the Crayon demo made it on to a compilation that I have, so I included that song in the file.

If anyone has the Oatmeal or Crayon demos, please upload those to something like MediaFire and share.

Here is the download link: Download

Here are the songs that are in the file:

Coupleskate 7" (1994) 256k
01) Coupleskate
02) I Love Rock-n-Roll (cover song)
03) My Name is Not John Travolta

Dreaming For The Gold 7" (1996) 224k
01) Dreaming For The Gold
02) Hesitation (They Knew the Song by the Dance)
03) Doral

Rare Tracks 256k
01) Christmas in Cobb County (from "Christmas in Heaven" 1996)
02) Baby Shoes (original version) (from "Fluffy Vs. Phantasmic" 1995)
03) Two Ways a Thousand Times (from the "Joe Christmas/Kincaid split" 1996)
04) Yoke Of Lack (by Crayon) (from "In the Land of Milk & Cookies: Mootown Records Sampler" 1994)
05) You're Special To Me (from "Starball Contribution" 1994)
06) (Waiting For) A Love That's Real (Stryper cover from "Sweet Family Music: A Tribute To Stryper" 1996)

Ive been looking for that MooTown compilation for ages.... can't seem to locate a copy Sad

I didnt realize the Baby Shoes version on the split cd was different than their T&N release?

Amazing band....used to cover Coupleskate all the time back in the 90s.  The guitarist (not zachary) setup a myspace account and told me they were talking about releasing a best of with some b-sides or some rare stuff. No reunion talks, but sounds like if we keep our fingers crossed we might see something in the future.
