not sure if this is the correct part of the forum to post this but...

I heard about this board from a friend when i told him i was going to sell my dial m test for some extra cash. it's unplayed, NM and comes with original blank jacket it came in plus the letter from burnt toast and the official jacket/inner stickers for record.
i am looking for a decent amount!
here is my ebay account with 100% feedback!
http://myworld.ebay.com/timscerealshack

this is horrible. it's your first post, and your wanting to fleece the flock?!

if you're looking for a decent amount, just put it up on ebay and see what you get.

haha, I still have my regular copy of Dial M. I just don't really care for test pressings anymore.

Darn it crunchy, he hasn't done anything wrong.

That said, the best bet for selling that is to just put it up on ebay, and post a link about it here (and maybe also on the Velvet Blue Music forum).

actually, it's quite tacky to join a board and start selling something. (this was especially bad because it was in his very first post.) it's amazing how quickly a thread will be whisked away to another forum because it's somehow a little too off-topic to post it in here, but god forbid you criticize someone trying to be greedy.

Plenty of people have announced that they're selling stuff on the forum before, and no one complained. I don't see why we should have some sort of "You must have this many posts before you can advertise" policy.

With the current set-up of the forum, I don't see how a Sf59-specific sales pitch is out of place in the Sf59-specific subforum. It's not like we have a designated place for selling things. Yet...

And telling a new guy off for being tacky is a great way to encourage him to stick around and participate in the community.

Of course, how do we know it is this person's first post, or just a new screen name for someone that didn't like their old one or even maybe forgot their old username.  Even if it is their first time, I don't see any problem with it.

Of course, I also have no interests in test pressings. Not my thing.  But someone here might. By now, if no one here has made an offer, I would put it up on eBay.
