By no means do I say that TFF is Jason's greatest work to date. If I had to pick just one out of the releases I own, I'd throw up my hands because they're all pretty much my favorites. Smiley Sure, I naturally lean more towards TFF and the post-TFF era (which are, IMO, more 'accessible' than earlier releases), but by no means am I going to say, 'Here's my copies of Gold and Americana, you can have them. 'cos they're junk.'

[no! thwap! hands off!]

Just because I don't listen to them as much as My Island, for example, doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with them. I think picking your favorite and dumping the rest of an artist's catalogue as crap is, well, crappy. The JE forum is a good example of people bloviating about nonsense--sure, TWS is great, but I wouldn't call it Ronnie's best work yet--his best 'work' has yet to be released, and that is a 'greatest hits' album.

Hmm, Haydon was going to send me his Narnia CDs, but I guess he forgot. Care to enlighten me? Wink

Trying to think of where I heard it...it might be a Rush Limbaugh word from my ultra-conservative days. Tongue

I very much doubt starflyer 59 will break up. All the band members change all the time except for Jason of course and it never once stopped thier flow. Even if they break up that wouldn't stop Jason Martin from going solo. He plays most of the instruments in the band anyway so I doubt the music would change. I don't think theres anything stopping starflyer 59 except time.

One of the greatest things about TFF is the list of players on the album. There was such a stellar collection of musicians on there ... even Mike Knott stopped in for a few drinks and some BGV's.
