That is strange. Reminds me of the desperateness I saw on their myspace around two years ago when some kids were digging pretty deep to interpret their lyrics as having biblical meaning. Cringe worthy.

Perhaps bandsonfire.com just wanted to be able to justify having Neon Horse on their website. "Just throw in some bible verses...that should cover it."  Wink

The references are printed on the left inner spine.

Most of them seem only vaguely related; I'm not denying they might apply, but I actually was reminded more of John 4 with "Follow the Man" and 1 Peter 5:8 with "Comin' Up Theventh," for example.

Actually, I think they're a nice sign a Christian lyricist could take inspiration from the Bible and end up with a lyric that's neither completely derivative (not that I'd find a well-done derivation distasteful, they're just not usually done all that well) nor completely corny.
