i have been a joy e fan for 10 years, but i never really got into starflyer 59. my sister is a huge fan though.
she gave me a copy of Americana and Gold, to listen to on a long drive last week. and now i feel like i should have been listening to starflyer 59 for 10 years. i don't know why i never really got into it before, this music is so great. i think im going to cry.

I know what you mean, Nikmis...I only discovered them this year. If someone had told me about them ten years ago...oh well. Can't turn back time. But at least we have a great back-catalogue to listen to. It's better than having to wait two or three years for the next release like, oh, umm, Mute Math.

Cool! I had those three as a batch as well. Good choices.

The Fashion Focus is definitely worth getting also. I've been liking it more and more lately.

It's a great album to listen to as you're going to sleep. It literally works it's way into your dreams.

That's freaky. What exactly do you dream about?

Yeah, I want to know, too. Sounds strange. I fell asleep one time listening to a Future Sound of London recording (back when I was into techno) and started having REALLY weird dreams...almost hallucination-quality...so I stopped listening to FSOL so much after that.

That freakiness reminds me of when I just found out what the lyrics were to all of Avenged Sevenfold's songs. Crazy stuff.

Haven't heard of them, but I know the feeling. When I was more into 'secular' music, I would occasionally read through the lyric sheets when included...and was sometimes downright shocked by what I read. Oops!
