the thing with t&n is that it would cost them $0 to just put a News item and preorder link on their website and then to tweet it or whatever. at the very LEAST i would think they'd do that.
Yeah, plus if they were concerned about selling the album, they would actually make more money if they would promote it. >_<
I mean really, all T&N has is their name. People actually buy their albums because they know there have been interesting bands signed with T&N before.
If Jason Martin were to release an album independently, most SF59 fans are loyal and would even find it themselves, but Jason might actually gain some from his own promoting. Not to mention he would get more profit skipping the label fees.
