Also, we’ve been planning extensively for a re-issue of Starflyer 59’s Gold on vinyl. It’s going to be deluxe. At this point, we’d love to gather any photos, stories, videos, or audio recordings you might have from the two Starflyer tours in 1995. We already have some footage and audio and are hoping to gather more. If you happen to have anything like this or know someone who does, let’s talk. E-mail at burnttoastvinyl at gmail dot com with Gold in the subject line.

My hearts beating faster...  Even though I already have Gold on vinyl I'd buy this reissue in a heartbeat.  I don't spend much money frivolously but when it comes to Starflyer vinyl my money principals go out the window.  Except I haven't forked out any ridiculous amounts of cash for The Drop.

after some subject matter from dial m relating to being 'free to leave' his present musical occupation, a title like this for the new album kind of makes me worried.

When I think of the album title, I keep hearing No More Shows in my head..
My guess would be No More Shows meets Dial M. Tongue

three months is the same amount of time that XRA takes to release a finished album. that's about how long the print mags need in order to get something in around the release date.

btv will be releasing the vinyl version of Starflyer 59’s forthcoming album, The Changing of the Guard. It will be in a thick old-school tip-on style gatefold jacket with a bonus 7″. The mastering is wrapping up shortly and once everything has been shipped off to the plant, pre-orders will begin. The official release date for the cd is 10 August and the vinyl will be shipping to arrive in time.
