If it's destiny then play our song. I've always interpreted that as about being about the success of the band. In the video interview with Heavenly Riffs Jason says, "If it's meant to be, it'll happen."

"You're Mean" is not necessarily a lovesong, but a frustrated guy song probably about a girl (We'd have to confirm with Cloud on that).
