..Very unique. Good sounding too.
I haven't checked them out yet though.

Any fans here?

I snagged their song "Hang Me Up To Dry" when it was iTunes' Free Download of the Week a few months ago. I like it, but not enough to get me interested in the band. Not really my style.

They're on the Tonight Show now? Dang. Good for them.

Yup, that's them alright.  The vocalist who also plays the keys has talent, not sure about the rest.

And yes, Cald War Kids is produced by Jason Martin.

Screw that this is an old topic. How else can I profess my love fer the Kids?

Is it true that Sir Jason actually produced one of their albums? As in Robbers and Cowards?

I think so, don't know for sure if he did their main album in particular, but seems to be that way, yes.

I woulden't be surprised, it's a good album. I didn't like it much except a song or 2, at first - Then it's uniqueness grew on me.

Eh, reviving old topics is OK. Best to have one thread than half a dozen. Grin

wikipedia states that a certain kevin augunas produced robbers and cowards, along with the band themselves.

although, on an interesting note, matt wignal of havalina fame engineered on two songs and provided the photography. if you look around, his pics are on a ton of different albums. also: matt maust, whom i believe performed with havalina for awhile, is cwk's bassist.

off-topic, i know. Undecided

that's one way to put it, yeah. bluesy but darn good. they came outta nowhere for me, took me a few listens to get used to.

Actually, his brother Dave Maust played in Havalina (and currently in Matt Death and the new intellectuals)
