From what I read, USB turntables are junk. I do have a phono preamp that has a USB connection, so that is all covered. Smiley

Ahh, nice nice.

I dunno, I just found out a year ao such things exist.
They're probably better now, but I dunno.

I thought about getting a turntable one day, but then realized most music is available in the digital world and that vinyl costs a lot more. Tongue

And sounds so much better. Plus, playing vinyl takes more time. With CDs, you just throw a bunch in the disc changer and listen for hours, same with PMPs. But with vinyl, you more carefully select which music you will buy and you plan your evening around the listening experience. Your life is richer for it.

All the more reasons MP3 is the future. Tongue

Yeah I know, vinyl is very classy and all. But when it comes down to song and song, and since there is no perfect song.. digital is much more flexible at a much smaller cost.
Though it would be pretty cool to have vinyl..

I tell you what, I bought a cheap Gemini XL120 for $60 and love it.  It's belt driven (but I don't need direct drive) has adjustable pitch and is fully manual.  The sound is great and I have ripped my Ghosts 7" and they sound great on my IPod.
