Although Jason is recorded on the Bon Voyage and Neon Horse (speculation) is this the first Happy Christmas without a Starflyer song? Bummer.

I'd have to say that Happy Christmas 3 is by far the best...Starflyer, Poor Old Lu, Joy Electric, Aaron Sprinkle, Denison Witmer.  The 2 Reliant K songs are great.  So are the Cadet and Kendall Payne songs.  Pretty much everything on there is awesome.

I always really liked HC vol2. The tracks from MxPx, House of Wires, Norway are awesome. Plus, there is the amazing "Lollipop Parade (On Christmas Morn)" by Joy Electric. And of course, the Starflyer track.

Anybody else dig FM Static's "Snow Miser" cover? I know they're the softer counterpart of Thousand Foot Krutch but I had never heard them. Oh, and the "Mr. Grinch" cover is a pleasant surprise too.

Never bothered to listen to it, because I haven't cared much for anything else I've heard by either incarnation of the band. Though I did think having TFK cover "Heat Miser" and FMS cover "Snow Miser" was a pretty clever move.

On that topic, "Snow Miser / Heat Miser" is seriously one of the most insidious ear worms I've ever heard. I watched The Year Without Santa exactly once, years ago, yet the song has obstinately stuck in my head to this day, and the slightest provocation can get the melody bouncing around for hours again.

Anyone heard Big Bad Voodoo Daddy's cover? That was good.
