Great job stalking!

No, seriously, that's pretty cool--as cool as a not-really-pretentious performance of "How Great Is Our God" can be, anyway.

He actually works on the melody for a lot of his songs using guitar.

Ronnie also plays (played?) drums for Foxglove Hunt.

Wow, painful. Although I am glad he is doing what he feels the Lord has called him to do, its still makes me a little sad.

You're not the only one.

But the old songs were new at one time. And there are plenty of old bad songs, too. We're just more aware of the new bad songs because the old bad ones stopped getting played.

And, he's still there. http://ashlandgbc.org/ashland-church/pastors

I wonder how many JE fans are in attendance.

Seriously I need to find a church that doesn't have any music during it.  I would really like the change.

But I am glad Ronnie is doing it, he seems happy.

My father is worship leader pastor thingy.  And growing up with him walking around the house with his acoustic guitar playing worship music all hours of the day or while your trying to watch X-Files really makes you hate worship music. (and your father)

Have you ever gone to a church that uses the Heavenly Highway Hymnal for it's primary songbook?

I've pretty much only gone to churches that use it.

So much worship music seems to utilize only a few easy chords and then the lyrics are taken from Psalms. If you like that, then more power to you, but I enjoy some of the interesting chord changes, etc., found in some of the stuff in HHH.

I've gone to mostly small churches, so sometimes it will only be with piano.
