Am I the only one who despises worship music?
Give me some old school hymns and an organ, thats the stuff that gets me going.

I despise most of it as well. Gimme some "Just as I am" any day. The problem is most Churches have ditched the Hymnal completely in favor of pandering to the spiritual hipsters.

Spiritual hipsters?

I always pegged the Christian hipsters as the group most likely to eschew modern worship songs in favor of old hymns or the formal liturgy of any denomination besides the one they grew up in.

I wonder how many JE fans are in attendance.

There's at least one.

Did you read the quiz on that site.
7) When you hear the term "CCM," what's the first thing that pops into your head?
(a)That was the black hole I was mired in before I first heard "Kid A."

14) Can you ably talk about both shoegaze music and mid-90s dc Talk?
They got me on this one.
